In its current state, sparkle-git is a soft fork of rgit where I add features that I want and features that are sometimes outside of the scope of the original.

That page is a live copy of the sparkle branch.

My end goal with this project is to glue together and create tools written in Rust to replicate the GitHub/GitLab experience, without requiring unique user accounts - only GPG and SSH.

Roadmap:

  • Replicating useful functionality from cgit
  • Light theme
  • Rework the core template to not use tables while keeping the original look and feel
  • Pipelight integration for producing builds
  • Issue tracker
  • TBA
